Position Overview

The Partnerships Associate is a central liaison responsible for ensuring that inbound partnerships, opportunities, and projects move forward efficiently, clearly, and on time.

Working in close partnership with the Director of Development & Philanthropic Partnerships, this role translates strategy into execution—maintaining accountability across teams, optimizing workflows, and supporting the Partnerships function with strong operational rigor. This person will collaborate regularly with colleagues across Growth & Engagement, Impact & Innovation, and Product Marketing. On occasion this role will work directly with the CEO to support inbound opportunities and partner onboarding.

This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently, while also taking clear direction in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track inbound partnerships, sales leads, and development initiatives

  • Serve as an internal liaison across Growth & Engagement, Product, and Marketing Teams

  • Maintain project accountability, timelines, and clear ownership across active initiatives (e.g. Pipeline Tracking, Conversion Rates)

  • Support partner onboarding and internal handoffs to the appropriate teams

  • Prepare progress updates, summaries, and partner-facing materials (e.g. Email Communications)

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop external-facing partnership resources

  • Optimize workflows and operational frameworks to improve efficiency

  • Flag risks, blockers, delays, or gaps and support timely resolution

  • On occasion, work directly with the CEO to support inbound opportunities

100% Remote. Must reside in District of Columbia, Maine, New York, Colorado, Indiana or Washington state.

Job requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in operations, partnerships, project management, or development

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Process-oriented yet adaptive in fast-moving environments

  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders

  • Professional, discrete, and reliable

  • Interest or background in philanthropy, social impact, or civic technology
